After a crushing defeat in a major tournament, Zhang Ruoyi, forced to abandon her professional career, returned to school. In the unfamiliar environment, table tennis, which had once cast a shadow over her, became a ray of light piercing through her confusion—on the table, she made teammates; off the court, she gained friendships.
