Ritsuka Tachibana lives a calm and unchanging life. Her life begins changing bit by bit when Shikou Academy student council president, Rem Kaginuki, calls on the girl, and she begins having mysterious encounters with the student council members. One day, she comes home to find her mother collapsed with suspicious hooded men nearby. They were not humans but devils, vampires, and exorcists seeking the Forbidden Grimoire. Ritsuka's former daily life crumbles around her, and she finds herself slowly becoming attracted to Rem, who helps her in her predicament. On the other hand, confusion deepens with regard to her brother who carries a secret. Ritsuka is unsure what path to choose as she finds herself at the center of a love story.

Courcast score breakdown
CourScore weighs signals for an official sequel announcement within 18 months, blending attention velocity, completion strength, and catalogue health.
CourScore
32.4
CourScore measures renewal signals out of 100. It is not a calibrated probability of an official sequel announcement within 18 months.
Signal coverage: 100% • Signal freshness: High • Updated 12 hours ago
Top reasons
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Brain's Base) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 17%, above the catalogue average of 14%
- Cohort rating percentile - 53th percentile within season cohort
- Titles like this rarely return - 9 years with no new entry: of films (later entries in a franchise) in that position, 7% got a new season or film within 10 years
Runway
Anime original
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
