The "heartwarming" anime's story follows the two titular women Escha and Chron, whose contrasting personalities are like the sun and moon. The two women are from "Terminal," a future post-apocalyptic world that's empty and monochrome. The two women cross worlds and arrive in the present day, which they call "Transit." As Escha and Chron experience the light (scenery) and sound (music) of the real world, the future world of Terminal gradually changes into a more vivid world.

Top reasons
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Lerche) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 15%, above the catalogue average of 14%
- Titles like this rarely return - 9 years with no new entry: of OVAs and specials (first entries) in that position, under 1% got a new season or film within 10 years
- Trailer reception (YouTube) - Official trailer has 18,062 views
Runway
Anime original
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
