On an ordinary planet in the distant future. Humans have long been at war with the mechanical aristocrats called "Hyperion." This is the story of Drossel, a Hyperion and the daughter of the Duke von Flügel, and her butler Gedächtnis in the Tower of Tempest, isolated from the outside world. Their daily tasks revolve around managing problems that occur in their high-rising castle-tower while awaiting the day the stars realign themselves.

Top reasons
- Format continuity - Format (TV_SHORT) matches prior mainline entries
- Titles like this rarely return - 6 years with no new entry: of short series (later entries in a franchise) in that position, 6% got a new season or film within 10 years
- Time since finale - ~108 months since estimated air window ended
Runway
Anime original
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
