Seventeen-year-old Emi Kaidou hasn't seen her father in ten years. She lives alone and feels increasingly disaffected, challenging the world to kill her and feeling empty when her daredevil behavior doesn't "pay off". All of that is about to change when she meets four heroes from alternate earths. When their worlds were eliminated by an evil man known only as “Z”, they instead came to Emi's, and together they determine to stop the destruction.

Courcast score breakdown
CourScore weighs signals for an official sequel announcement within 18 months, blending attention velocity, completion strength, and catalogue health.
CourScore
17.1
CourScore measures renewal signals out of 100. It is not a calibrated probability of an official sequel announcement within 18 months.
Signal coverage: 100% • Signal freshness: High • Updated 14 hours ago
Top reasons
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Tatsunoko Production, Digital Frontier) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 18%, above the catalogue average of 14%
- Domestic episode engagement (Niconico) - 2,739,895 episode views on Niconico (JP domestic)
- Titles like this rarely return - 9 years with no new entry: of series (first entries) in that position, under 1% got a new season or film within 10 years
Runway
Anime original
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
