Kamiyashiro Chikage was raised as a fighter of Shumisen, a secret society to seal mononke demons using special spirits called "In". When he was small, his father was killed by traitors to Shumisen and the trauma had made him withdraw into himself. Some years later, he gains the skill of "In" and is assigned an undercover mission to execute the traitors in the society.

Courcast score breakdown
CourScore weighs signals for an official sequel announcement within 18 months, blending attention velocity, completion strength, and catalogue health.
CourScore
8.5
CourScore measures renewal signals out of 100. It is not a calibrated probability of an official sequel announcement within 18 months.
Signal coverage: 100% • Signal freshness: High • Updated 8 hours ago
Top reasons
- Titles like this rarely return - 15 years with no new entry: of OVAs and specials (first entries) in that position, under 1% got a new season or film within 10 years
- Time since finale - ~184 months since estimated air window ended
- Favourite base strength - 0 cross-platform favourites
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
