Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny Special Edition
Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED DESTINY Special Edition
1. The Broken World (Kudakareta Sekai)
2. Respective Swords (Sorezore no Ken)
3. The Hell Fire of Destiny (Sadame no Goka)
4. The Cost of Freedom (Jiyuu no Daishou)
Like the three specials of Gundam Seed, these specials feature new or changed scenes of the TV series. However unlike the TV series, which was told in the points of view of main characters Shinn Asuka and Kira Yamato, the Special Edition was told through the eyes of Athrun Zala, giving the movies a much more neutral point of view.

CourScore
49.5
CourScore measures renewal signals out of 100. It is not a calibrated probability of an official sequel announcement within 18 months.
Signal coverage: 100% • Signal freshness: Medium • Updated 3 hours ago
Top reasons
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Bandai Entertainment, Sunrise, Mainichi Broadcasting System) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 35%, above the catalogue average of 14%
- Cross-platform audience rating - Weighted audience rating 71.5
- JP domestic platform breadth (JustWatch) - Available on 2 JP domestic platform(s): FOD, U-NEXT
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
