That stray dog that the girl loved so much wanted an apple for a long time. Meanwhile, the carrots try to turn everything into a seedbed. The girl opens the box and leaves with the dog because they know that decay is inevitable.

CourScore
25.1
CourScore measures renewal signals out of 100. It is not a calibrated probability of an official sequel announcement within 18 months.
Signal coverage: 100% • Signal freshness: High • Updated 26 minutes ago
Top reasons
- Cross-platform audience rating - Weighted audience rating 58.4
- Titles like this rarely return - 3 years with no new entry: of films (first entries) in that position, 1% got a new season or film within 10 years
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Geidai Animation) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 0%, below the catalogue average of 14%
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
