Top reasons
- Format continuity - Format (TV_SHORT) matches prior mainline entries
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Production I.G, NHK, OLM) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 30%, above the catalogue average of 14%
- Committee collaboration history - Titles sharing at least two committee members: 2 of 6 have a catalogued successor (33%), compared with 14% across the catalogue
Runway
Anime original
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
