Top reasons
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (SAMG Animation) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 38%, above the catalogue average of 14%
- Reddit discussion momentum - 13 weekly Reddit threads, compared with current activity
- Titles like this rarely return - 9 years with no new entry: of films (later entries in a franchise) in that position, 6% got a new season or film within 10 years
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
