Mage Mo Fan, and his partner Ling Ling, are drawn into a long-standing unsolved case due to a mysterious invitation from the Hunter King. After a series of adventures and investigations, they discover that it was all a conspiracy orchestrated by the Red Beast. The Red Beast, by parasitizing demons like Yi Qiu and Lu Kun, is growing stronger step by step, getting closer and closer to its ultimate goal. After a thrilling life-or-death battle, Mo Fan, with the help of his friends Ling Ling and Wang Yue Qian Xun, defeats the Red Beast, only to discover that it was merely one of its clones, and that he himself had already become part of the Red Beast's conspiracy...
