Soon the guardian angels on Earth begin disappearing, and no one in Heaven can explain the happenings. But there is a sense of a vengeful animal spirit at work, and so the four Saint Beasts are called upon to investigate.

Top reasons
- Format continuity - Format (TV) matches prior mainline entries
- JP domestic platform breadth (JustWatch) - Available on 2 JP domestic platform(s): FOD, U-NEXT
- Titles like this rarely return - 19 years with no new entry: of series (first entries) in that position, under 1% got a new season or film within 10 years
Runway
Anime original
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
