It is the year 2025, five years since devastating terrorist attacks put an end to the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The UN has taken control of the former Olympic site on the edge of Tokyo Bay, placing it beyond Japan’s jurisdiction.
Hana Togetsu is a seventeen-year-old high school student who lives in the area. Not your typical teen, she belongs to a special unit run by the UN. Hana is sent on a mission as a transfer student to a public high school on Enoshima Island.
Her target: Shunichi Nanase, a boy in her class.
As Hana is about to make contact with her target, a middle-aged man appears at the school asking for Shunichi. The situation turns critical when the American military arrives at the school in pursuit of the man.
As the bloodshed escalates, another teenage girl begins to make her way to the island to break the deadlock.

Courcast score breakdown
CourScore weighs signals for an official sequel announcement within 18 months, blending attention velocity, completion strength, and catalogue health.
CourScore
16.7
CourScore measures renewal signals out of 100. It is not a calibrated probability of an official sequel announcement within 18 months.
Signal coverage: 100% • Signal freshness: High • Updated 7 hours ago
Top reasons
- Trailer reception (YouTube) - Official trailer has 661,862 views
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Kinema Citrus, Orange) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 25%, above the catalogue average of 14%
- Titles like this rarely return - 10 years with no new entry: of OVAs and specials (first entries) in that position, under 1% got a new season or film within 10 years
Runway
Anime original
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
