Due to the destruction of nature, the disruption of ecosystem, and also massive wars using nuclear bombs and biological weapons since 20 centuries, the earth fell into ruins. The ground was collapsed and polluted, and many kinds of plants and animals became extinct. The earth encountered the 6th mass extinction: The Big Six. During the time, humans built the aero police to save endangered species. In this isolated city in the sky, various animals evolved over the years through genetically modified mating. As a result, they started walking on two legs and acquired language. Today, they have built a civilization and lead peaceful lives. No one thinks of the outside, the terrestrial world any more――
One day, kids on the aero police find an unknown seed from the outside. And their adventure in the unseen terrestrial world starts! ――Without knowing that once they go down to the ground, they will never be able to come back…

Courcast score breakdown
CourScore weighs signals for an official sequel announcement within 18 months, blending attention velocity, completion strength, and catalogue health.
CourScore
12.3
CourScore measures renewal signals out of 100. It is not a calibrated probability of an official sequel announcement within 18 months.
Signal coverage: 100% • Signal freshness: High • Updated 9 hours ago
Top reasons
- Reddit discussion momentum - 13 weekly Reddit threads, compared with current activity
- Titles like this rarely return - 10 years with no new entry: of films (first entries) in that position, under 1% got a new season or film within 10 years
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Studio 4°C) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 2%, below the catalogue average of 14%
Runway
Anime original
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
