The story revolves around Chu Kuangsheng, the son of Patriarch Chu in the remote Shiyang town within the Shenlong Empire. Born weak and unable to train, Chu Kuangsheng becomes the laughingstock of the entire town. However, after inheriting the ancestral technique of the Chu family during an ambush, he rebuilds his damaged meridians and rapidly progresses in his training. Despite appearing weak on the surface, he has another identity—the renowned Kuangzun in the martial world. Chu Kuangsheng discovers a collusion within the Chu clan related to his parents’ disappearance, and he uses his hidden identity to secretly gather strength and information. With one face and two identities, he battles against heroes and becomes a master.

Courcast score breakdown
CourScore weighs signals for an official sequel announcement within 18 months, blending attention velocity, completion strength, and catalogue health.
CourScore
43.0
CourScore measures renewal signals out of 100. It is not a calibrated probability of an official sequel announcement within 18 months.
Signal coverage: 100% • Signal freshness: High • Updated 8 hours ago
Top reasons
- Cross-platform audience rating - Weighted audience rating 65.2
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Ruo Hong Culture, Youku) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 17%, above the catalogue average of 14%
- Committee collaboration history - Titles sharing at least two committee members: 4 of 18 have a catalogued successor (22%), compared with 14% across the catalogue
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
