Ye Feng, Chu Tiange, Gai Shiai, and Cookie from Nanhua High School formed the "Open Band." After narrowly missing out on the championship in a music competition, the band decided to participate in the "National High School Competition" in the new semester. Here, the band encountered even stronger opponents, staging a series of exciting battles. The four also gained growth and friendship on their journey to pursue their musical dreams.

Courcast score breakdown
CourScore weighs signals for an official sequel announcement within 18 months, blending attention velocity, completion strength, and catalogue health.
CourScore
32.2
CourScore measures renewal signals out of 100. It is not a calibrated probability of an official sequel announcement within 18 months.
Signal coverage: 100% • Signal freshness: High • Updated 10 hours ago
Top reasons
- Streaming availability breadth - Available on 4 region-platform pairs
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Foch, Shanghai Animation Film Studio) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 17%, above the catalogue average of 14%
- MAL community size - 686 MAL list entries (watching/completed/planned)
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
