Top reasons
- Format continuity - Format (TV) matches prior mainline entries
- Committee renewal track record - Lead committee members (Alpha Animation) have a smoothed catalogue continuation rate of 32%, above the catalogue average of 14%
- Titles like this rarely return - 8 years with no new entry: of series (first entries) in that position, 2% got a new season or film within 10 years
This is an anime original, not an adaptation, so there is no source material to run down - renewal turns on sales and popularity rather than runway.
